June 22, 2022 St. Andrews en route to the Highlands

We depart early in the morning to go to St. Andrews, St. Andrews is the birth place of golf, and as many of you avid golfers know - the famous bridge along the St. Andrew's golf course. There is the St. Andrews college in this town, where Prince Harry met Princess Kate whilst going to school. The town itself is coastal, sitting on cliffs. The St. Andrews Church was fenced off to visitors, but people could mill about the town and the golf course as they pleased. There was some work being done at the time to prepare for an upcoming golf match.

I walked the greens looking for the famous bridge so that I could snag a photo for my golf friends at home - and also stopped at the National golf museum to get a few things as well. We didn't stay long in the town, we were making our way to the Scottish Highlands where we were to have a picnic, play some highland games against each other and to meet some Highland Coos! (Cows, but that's just how it sounds there, which I love)

During the highland games, we have to flip long pole/logs, we have to jump on balls racing each other, and flip giant tires. When this is done, we finally get to meet the cows!

These are the long haired, precious cows that everyone wishes they had, maybe just me.

The babies are so cute! we get to feed and pet them. It's like I'm living one of my dreams come true!

Cheers! x
